Thanks to the Grant County Court and Northeast Oregon Forests Resource Advisory Committee, Grant Soil and Water Conservation District Weed Control is pleased to offer a 50% Cost Share Program for Noxious Weed Control on Private Grazing  Lands.  This program will provide a maximum $5,000 of noxious weed control services with a $2,500 maximum landowner contribution to qualifying participants. Applications will be available April 22, 2024.

Application Requirements:

 ·         Provide 50% Cost Match for the project (Maximum $2,500.00 per applicant).

 ·         Property must be primarily managed for livestock grazing and not actively irrigated.

 ·         Property must be a minimum of 20 acres in size.

 ·         Property must be located in Grant County

 ·        Property must contain weed species listed on the Grant County Noxious Weed List.

Applications will be available April 22, 2024. Return completed application to Grant Soil and Water Conservation District Weed Control.  This is a first come first served program!!!  Applications will be funded in order they are received.
