2015 Educational and Outreach Projects

Grant SWCD applied for and received funding for educational and outreach programs in 2015.  These programs are used to broaden the publics knowledge on natural resources and governmental regulations pertaining to Ag water quality, threatened and endangered species and their habitats. 

2015 Summer Youth Crew

Through a cooperative effort with the Malheur National Forest, the Grant SWCD provided summer empolyment to five local high school students.  This program allowed these area youths to gain work and educational experience while partipating in multiple areas of natural resource managment.  Lead by Forest Service Professionals, the crew spent time working on projects associated with range, wildlife…
